- Cherry Blossom Festival. Nothing quite says spring like blossoming trees and cherry blossoms are some of the most beautiful. Visit the Descanso Gardens to celebrate Japanese culture March 4th and 5th. Enjoy the blooming trees, origami classes, musical performances, and more.
- 626 Golden Streets. If you’ve ever wondered what Southern California would be like without cars, on March 5th, 18 miles of open streets, six Gold Line stations, and seven SGV cities will be car-free. That means you can ride your bike, skate, run, or just walk down the clear streets.
- A Festival of Colors. This festival is in celebration of the traditional Indian custom of Holi and is something you should experience at least once in your life. This year, it will be held Saturday, March 11th at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area. Bring protective eye gear and be prepared to leave covered from head to toe in a rainbow of colorful powder.
